I am passionate about music and ministry. I also love venting my artistic thoughts onto a canvas with abstract painting. Hobbies: Music, Painting, Journaling, Road Trips, Guitar & Harmonica
I gave my heart to Jesus when I was four years old, but gave my life to Him at 23. While attending Bible College a friend in the dorms taught me how to play three chords on the guitar and changed my life forever. It seemed to come so naturally to me and God began to pour music out of me. As I learned more musically, new doors were opened and before I knew it, I was touring full time.
Through the years I have been blessed with some amazing moments on and off stage. However, nothing is more incredible than seeing how Christ can use just a hand full of us to radically change lives and impact others for the Kingdom of God!

Jewelsong is an eclectic women's vocal ensemble who share the joy of music through inspirational songs from many different spiritual traditions. Betsy Bickel, Farrunnissa Lila Rosa, Marilyn Grubbs, and Sofianna Sue-Anne Solem have been musicians most of their lives and have been singing together since 2002.
They sing regularly at faith gatherings around the Triangle, at the Carrboro Music Festival, and have performed at the NC State Green Party Convention, the NC Dennis Kucinich rally, the "Surrounded By Light" benefit concert for Mark Malachi at the Carrboro ArtsCenter, and as part of the area-wide "Art and the Feminine Divine" project.
Jewelsong was honored to be the featured guest artists at the "Passion of the Mother" ArtShine grand opening in 2004. They have composed and/or arranged most of their songs.
