Community Outreach 2009

Back to School Blast... August 17, 2009 at Panera Bread in Brier Creek I.D.C. will be collecting back to school supplies for low income children. We are partnering with the Youth Coordinator of Passage Home a non-proft organization in Raleigh, NC. We need notebook paper, backpacks (boys and girls), #2 pencils, pens blue/black, 2 pocket folders, markers, highlighters etc... Please drop by on Monday, August 17th between 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm... Together we can make a difference in a child's life. Thank you

In November, we will be partnering with the non-profit organization We Are 1!! We will be working with a Durham, NC local agency to provide thanksgiving food to 2 low-income families. We are asking I.D.C. members and friends to join us as we collecting
stuffing, turkey's, can goods, rice etc... for these needy families this holiday season. More information will be coming concerning the list of items needs and the donation drop-off spot.

You're Busted Bra*A*Thon - In July at our annual event our community outreach drive was to collect 50 new bras to help the women of N-Street Village in Washington, DC. N Street Village helps low income and homeless women find confidence and self esteem who helping them get back on their feet. We worked hard to raise 57 new Bras to present on Saturday, July 18, 2009. We thank everyone who donated, travelled with us and took part in the event.
We listed to Constance story of survival and how much it means to her to know that people care. Together we are touching lives!!

Share A Christmas - Infinity Diamond adopts families every year during the Holiday Season and this year we are excited about continuing the tradition. In light of the economic times felt by many of us this season it is imperative that we show love and kindness for each other this holiday. We will be adopting 2 familes this year. In the coming months we will be announcing the wish lists of the families. We hope our friends and members will partner with us this holiday season.

Infinity will also be doing our Christmas Potluck Dinner. The date, location and time will be announced. Come out and enjoy some great food, good fellowships and enjoy this holiday season with your friends at I.D.C.
